The Fourth Vinogradov Conference “ Hydrology: from knowledge to world view” international research and practice conference in memory of outstanding Russian hydrologist Yury Borisovich Vinogradov will be held on March 24 to March 27, 2020 at St. Petersburg State University.
The conference is organized by the Department of Land Hydrology, the Institute of Earth Sciences, St. Petersburg State University with the support of LTD Gidrotekhproekt (St. Petersburg).
Mathematical modeling in hydrology: problems, achievements, practical application
Applied hydrology: modern problems and methods of solution
Dangerous hydrological phenomena: predictability and assessment
Geoecological research and protection of water bodies: what limits - imperfection of water law or ignorance of the processes?
Hydrological studies of the Arctic, Antarctic and Mars: exotic or urgent problems? (in honor of the Antarctica discovery 200th anniversary)
Regional water problems: anthropogenic impact and / or climate change?
Methodology of hydrology: is there a growth of scientific knowledge?
